State Armory Board

The Department of Military Affairs, State Armory Board is a statutorily created board which is empowered to hold title to armories in its name on behalf of the state of New Mexico and to oversee and maintain those armories as necessary pursuant to NMSA 20-8-3, 1978.

The Board consists of the Adjutant General who serves as the Chairman, the Director of the State Programs Office of the Department of Military Affairs who serves as the executive director, one commissioned officer of the army national guard, the command sergeant major of the army national guard, and three members at large who are not members of the national guard.

The Board meets at least once per quarter at the New Mexico National Guard Headquarters in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
