Department of Military Affairs Accessibility Statement
The Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is committed to providing digital services that are accessible, inclusive, and usable for all individuals, including people with disabilities. Our goal is to ensure that everyone can access the information, tools, and resources offered through our digital platforms. This commitment aligns with civil rights laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and we are committed to uphold this right.
Accessibility of Website
The DMA strives to meet the requirements of:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA
The DMA continues to work through the compliance process. If you encounter difficulty accessing digital content or need information in an alternative format, the DMA is committed to assisting you promptly.
Known Limitations
- PDFs: Some older PDFs may present accessibility barriers which the DMA acknowledges. DMA is working on determining the PDFs that can be remediated and working towards that remediation, as well as archiving PDFs that are unable to be remediated due to the documents being created prior to the compliance deadline.
